Collections Part 2: Rocks and Minerals

These images are very inspired by a two page spread in an atlas that I used to pour over as a child.  All the gems looked like candy to me.

These drawing very a fun (if hurried) exercise in drawing light and texture.  Generally I do most of my work from my head, but it's also great to have some grasp of how to render non-imaginary things too.
