A big thanks to everyone who made it out to the Incline Gallery this past Friday night! It was really exciting to share our work with everybody. It's funny, as an artist I spend so much time alone just listening to music, audio books, and NPR. I drink my coffee and tea and sometimes I don't see anyone or talk to anyone all day. And then there comes the time when I pull myself out of isolation, frame up my work, and show it to everyone who's willing to look. It's pretty exciting! Sometimes I am amazed when I look back and realize I made that work, not because it's really good or really bad, but just the fact that I took something out of my brain and presented it in a tangible form that other people can interact with. Sometimes images don't turn out how I expect (for better or for worse), but the fact that I can turn them out at all gives me an enormous sense of satisfaction and relief.
Anyway, a big thanks to everyone who helped make this show a success!
Below are a few images from the show. (I'm still learning how to use my camera!):

My upcoming posts will include images of more of the pieces in the show!
I want to go! Too bad I am lame and did not. I love the murals and can't wait to see the pieces you created.
