Old friends (oils)

I recently did my first oil painting in a really long time.  (It's Nikola Tesla!)  

Someone I'm very fond of has been waiting since Christmas for me to finish this painting, but the nitpicking never ends.  Granted, it will never be perfect, so I'm leaving it here.   I'm very self-conscious about it, but also pleased that it wasn't a total disaster.  I was also grateful that old oil paint tubes almost never dry up!  

I have grand schemes of putting it in a tacky baroque frame.  Let's see what the new owner says!
